The Artist

Brittini Alexandria is the Baltimore, Maryland native behind Brit Alex Studios, LLC. Holding a bachelor's in art history and a master's in architecture, she is a self-taught artist and photographer that has been enthralled with the arts from a very young age. Brit Alex typically describes her original art as abstract surrealism because her pieces often depict her abstract interpretation of the world, through expressive paint strokes, witty compositions, and suggestive textures. 

 

Brit is “…fascinated by what the lens chooses to see,” and is motivated by “what we see through our lenses, our eyes,[because it] is very subjective.” Her pieces have been described as thoughtful and symbolic, intense, yet subtle. Brit Alex continues to think outside the realm of what is viewed as reality, and takes her viewers deeper through the other side of the lens.
